SOS Consultation

When a dog-related situation feels urgent the SOS Consultation is designed to provide prompt, practical guidance when you need support quickly.

I will make every reasonable effort to accommodate an in-person consultation or Zoom call within 24 hours of your request, based on availability and the nature of the concern.

This service may be appropriate for situations such as:

• A sudden change in behavior
• A newly adopted or foster dog who is struggling to settle
• An urgent management concern requiring an immediate safety plan

During the consultation, we will review what happened, identify immediate risk factors, and develop clear steps to help you safely manage the situation. Depending on the concern, recommendations may include environmental management, separation protocols, equipment changes, handler guidance, and next-step training recommendations.

Because this service requires schedule adjustments and priority accommodation, an urgency surcharge applies in addition to the standard consultation fee.

Please note that an SOS Consultation is not a substitute for veterinary care or emergency services. Sudden behavioral changes may be caused by pain or illness. If a person or animal is in immediate danger, or if a serious injury has occurred, contact the appropriate emergency service or veterinarian first.
